Ravenna started with a simple idea: to recreate the kind of food we fell in love with while walking the streets of Rome. The kind you grab in a busy piazza, eat standing up, and immediately go back for another bite.
Their dough is handcrafted and slow-fermented for days to get that light, airy, crispy texture Roman pizza is known for. They top it with a mix of high-quality local ingredients and carefully selected imports from Italy, keeping it simple, honest, and full of flavor.

There were a lot of great pizza options to choose from at Ravenna’s Pizza. They offer pizzas whole or by the slice. It was hard to narrow it down, but I had to go with the classic Margherita pizza and the Crystal City Truffle. Both had delicious, buttery, flaky crusts and were topped with fresh ingredients.
The chocolate and vanilla gelato were both creamy, thick, and the perfect way to end this foodies lunch. They offer other flavors that I am totally going back to try. I also saw that they offer Focaccia Sandwiches, so I’m planning to go back and try that as well.

I loved the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that makes you want to come back and work your way through the rest of the menu.
Would I Go Back?
Absolutely! There are still so many pizzas, sandwiches, cocktails, and desserts I’d love to try. One thing I especially enjoy about revisiting restaurants is seeing how the experience changes with different menu items, and Ravenna Pizza has quickly become one of those places on my “must return” list.
