What We Ordered
I went for the classics that everyone grows up eating in the Philippines. These are also great beginner-friendly dishes for those who are looking to dip into our food culture.
- Lumpiang Shanghai
- Pork Adobo
- Pancit Palabok
- Beef Tapalog
- Calamansi Juice
- Halo Halo
We ordered the Lumpiang Shanghai as an appetizer, and wow, was it crunchy and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. I could have about 20 of these all on my own. For our entrees, we ordered Pork Adobo, Pancit Palabok, and Beef Tapalog.
My Family’s Favorite Dish
Never skip the Pancit Palabok! It’s the perfect dish to share family style, and is made fresh to order, as are many of the items served here.
The Pork Adobo was tender, and the sauce was perfect! Salty and sour with a touch of sweetness. It was our family’s overall favorite dish of the evening.
My Favorite Dish
My favorite dish was, of course, the Beef Tapalog with a side of garlic fried rice and topped with a sunny-side-up egg.
Crack that bad boy over the rice thats got an insanely delicious amount of fried garlic, and then pair everything together for a party of flavors. It’s my must-try recommendation for sure.
I washed everything down with a Calamansi Juice and then ended the dinner with a classic Halo Halo dessert.
10 out of 10 would recommend!
