Redeeming Love Movie Review

I admittedly haven’t read the famous novel before seeing this film, so I went in pretty much blind. I really can’t say how much I loved this film and how much it really tugs at my heartstrings.

Angel goes through so much in her story and to watch her get up time and time again and just persevere is amazing. There is a little bit of skin in this film and some hot and heavy kissing which oh yeah! That first kiss between Angel and Michael was wow!

I felt the magic in the air for sure. This beautifully told story, along with the beautiful backdrop of what really does make you feel like you are in California during the gold rush. Thank goodness we don’t have to deal with all that dirt and dust now though LOL.

Overall I give this film 2 thumbs up and also a request we have more of these films made! I love period pieces that are just visually spectacular and Redeeming Love really hit the spot.

Redeeming Love Film Fun Fact!

I find it super cool that Abigail Cowen was so moved to play the part of Angel, that she actually wrote an essay as she calls it to the director. Abigail shares in our interview that she fell in love with Angel’s story and wanted to be a part of bringing that story to life on the big screen.

Tom Lewis stars in Universal Pictures’ newest film Redeeming Love playing Michael Hosea. The handsome bachelor farmer looking to share his life with someone he loves. After a chance encounter with Angel (Abigail), he falls head over heels in love with her.
