On an average day in my home, I believe we consume about a million pounds worth of food. At least that’s what it feels like when I fill up the cabinets only to find them bare the next morning.

Since the kids have gone back to school I have found stocking up the cabinets can become a chore. I like to keep them full of their favorite breakfast and snack items for those grab-and-go mornings.

That’s why I love it when Safeway has its c Events at my local grocery store, the savings they offer are always appreciated. Shopping at Safeway during the Stock Up Sale means I can get all my favorite staples from General Mills, Coca-Cola, Kraft, and Nabisco at a great value.

Safeway Stock Up Sale

I am a super saver mom when it comes to stocking up for my families must have snacks and breakfast items. I love to shop during the Safeway Stock Up Sale’s because I get all the products they love at amazing deals.

The kids love it when we stock up on their must-have brands, it means they can have easy breakfast pairings in the morning. Since our house can get hectic in the morning’s sometimes the kids grab and go on the bus with their snacks and breakfast. Recently they have been indulging on Yoplait® Traditional Yogurt and dipping Nature Valley™ Granola Bars for extra flavor and crunch.

I personally like to pair these two together and indulge in the car on my way to work in the morning as well. The bar can also become a spoon if you’re like me and sometimes forget to grab that on your way out the door.

On-the-Go Snacks

Keturah’s favorite snack pairing lately has been the Hunt’s Snack Pack Vanilla Pudding paired with OREO Cookie Crumbles. I pre-pack the Oreo cookies and pudding cups in Ziplock bags for her to grab and go. The boys have been really enjoying their’s using Hunts Snack Pack Chocolate Pudding and Golden OREO’S.

I like to keep it old school and just take slow bites of my Butterscotch Pudding during break time at work. If you close your eyes long enough you actually feel like you’re on a beach in Hawaii. I might just have a strong imagination but I’m sure some of you can relate.

If you are in the store you can scan products right from the shelf to see if there are extra savings you can catch before you hit the register. I can’t tell you how much money I’ve saved from just using this app while in the store. Anyway, you can catch those extra savings is okay in my book.
