Valentine’s Day was a seriously fun day spent with my girls and best friend. We attended the Disney on Ice Presents Frozen show in Washington D.C. Capital Bank Area. The show blew us away creating a night to remember and multiple new fun stories to tell our friends.

Disney on Ice
To create a completely immersive experience for the audience, the set design will encompass the space from the ice surface up through the air, drawing everyone into the story and closer to the characters.
Families will feel that they are trekking up to the North Mountains with Anna, Kristoff, and Sven, and they will tangibly experience the storm inside Elsa. Elsa’s magic will be enhanced by state-of-the-art special effects while her emotions will be conveyed through powerful skating.

Why We Loved Disney on Ice Presents Frozen
This show was a blast, I cannot tell you how much my girls and I smiled during the entire show. If you are looking to see one of the most famous Love Stories then this is the show for you. Disney took their loveable and infamous Frozen tale and put it on Ice.
Disney on Ice Presents Frozen Show
I personally loved the show, I’m a huge Frozen fan and could not wait to see this movie on ice. I really liked their adaptation of the movie and how it all played out on the ice. The show is almost exactly like the movie except there are some new fun dance scenes and of course, the story is told in their own order.
I didn’t feel deprived of the story as it was told in their infamous movie, and I felt like it was beautifully performed as it was on the ice.

Meeting Elsa and Ana
There was a moment when Esuun my youngest daughter turned to me and told me “I’m having a Blast.” This was a huge moment for me seeing as I haven’t heard her say that about many things she has experienced. It really blew both my girls away and they all sang along to their favorite songs and were glued to the show.
What To Expect at Disney On Ice Presents Frozen:
As with many shows, there were small periods of darkness in the show but definitely not too dark for the kids to notice. I like to get to the show extra early to find out seats and just purchase their snacks from our seats when they walk by during the intermission.
The first part of the show and the end of the show is a huge party with all of the lovable Disney characters. So make sure you have your camera out and ready to snap a photo of them when they stop and wave to everyone.
Grab your tickets for Disney On Ice Present Frozen
There will be plenty of opportunities for photo ops with the characters as they do take the time to stop and wave to the audience. My girls loved being able to say hello to the cast which made their experience so much more personalized.
The last thing I have to add to what you can expect with the show is to dance and sing your heart out. I caught myself singing louder than my girls at some points.
