Disney animation studio’s Zootopia movie is definitely this year’s must-see movie for all families. Disney has of course done it again and has made a whole new world for you to explore. Ever wonder what the world would be like if animals had jobs, drove cars, and even fought crime!
Disney’s Zootopia Movie Review
Yes in this world crime still exists and thanks to elaborate training and the will of one bunny, Zootopia was saved yet again from catastrophe. Featuring the music stylings of Shakira, this movie is packed full of beautiful scenes and amazing adventure.
Judy Hopps *Voice By Gennifer Goodwin* is the “cute” (oh but don’t ever call a bunny cute, in Zootopia though! Seriously) bunny who dreamed of becoming something bigger than a normal farmer bunny. Ever since she was a child she dreamed of becoming the very first bunny officer.
Through her hard work and will to push forward Ms. Judy Hopps became the very first Bunny officer on the force. Of course, with any newcomer she had a lot to prove. One of the best parts of the movie I thought was the scene where Judy Hopps arrives in Zootopia, Disney brings you a world that you couldn’t have imagined.
It caters to all of the different types of animals and really reminds you of an amazing place where everyone can live amongst each other. The Clip is available below for you to see.
Disney’s Zootopia Review
Through a series of events (YES, OF COURSE, I WON’T SPOIL IT FOR YOU! You know me, I can’t spoil the awesome plot!) Judy teamed up with Nick Wilde *Voice by Jason Bateman* a sly Fox who knows his way around Zootopia. Since this is the first time Judy has been in Zootopia, the hilarious events that bring her and Nick Wilde together, she needs Nick’s help. T
Zootopia – Going Savage
There are a series of animals “going savage” in the city, Judy Hopps has taken it upon herself to solve this case. Even putting her badge on the line to show how dedicated she is to solving this case. She was given 48 hours to solve it and does everything in her power to find the truth.
This movie is the perfect mix of funny and adventure for the whole family. There are so many funny parts of this movie that any of us humans can relate to in our daily lives. It was really great to hear all of the other parents in the theater laugh as loud as I did.
Zootopia DMV
The sloths in the DMV have to be the most relatable part of the movie, as we all know being in the DMV is the most loathed chore we are required to do to be an adult. I may or may not have nudged my 7-year-old a few times during the movie as I was so excited and happy throughout the movie.
I'm trying so hard not to spoil the movie but I feel like the trailers Disney released, give you the best preview possible of what to expect, YET they don't spoil it at all.
For our screening, we were able to enjoy this movie in 3D which I totally recommend to any family! It was as if you were actually there and as if you could reach out and touch some of the leaves in the jungle. There were some intense parts to this movie, so make sure you are cuddle-ready, as my 7-year-old grabbed me and hugged me a few times. Don't worry though it's not SUPER SCARY just unexpected I should say.
Two Thumbs Up For Zootopia!
My kids give this movie 2 thumbs up and can't wait to see if a sequel will be in the works. I surely do hope there is! I want, no I need to see more! Okay yes, that's the Disney Kid in me talking there, but once you see this movie you will know why I'm so excited. Have you seen Disney's Zootopia yet? If not, what do you expect to see?
