The kids and I had been staying at some amazing hotels during our Summer Vacation in Florida, but this one for sure was like a home away from home. Everything down to the way the resort was set up made you feel right at home.

During your stay, you are given a one, two, or three-bedroom suite which overlooks a beautiful view as far as the eye can see. Checkin was a breeze which only took a few minutes to do, the kids were able to look around the lobby and find brochures with things to do around the area.

Once checked in you are given your building location as well as directions on how to get to your room. Don’t forget to check your room key card holder for some great coupons to use at the on-property amenity locations. Coupons for the stayReflections Spa & Salon, Pizza Hut Express, and Frankie Farrell’s were included.

Lake Buena Vista Resort 2 Bedroom Tour

After spending about two weeks stuck in double bedrooms with the kids I was more than excited to arrive at this resort. I was able to have my own room with a king-size bed, Oh did I mention that huge jacuzzi? Yeah, that beauty right there was my best friend once the kids went to bed.

I loaded it up with bubbles popped a bottle of wine and relaxed. I loved the bed and pillows, felt like I was at home in my own bed, and the beautiful shower was a delight as well.

All of their one, two, three and four-bedroom suites have the extra touches of granite counter tops in the full kitchen equipped with dishes, silverware, and basic necessities for preparing meals, glass topped dining table, a jacuzzi tub, a washer and dryer, and private balcony.

Fun Things To Do On The Property

The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa offer some great on-property amenities that the whole family can enjoy. If you are looking to cool off you can head over to the Pirate’s Plunge Waterpark feature a Pirate Ship Water Slide. Poolside you can find the Lani’s Luau which proudly serves breakfast now from 8-11 am Daily.

The staySky Kids Club is available for the whole family to join in on and participate in many different activities. The Fitness center is open to all guests and provides equipment for all levels of exercise. The Relaxation Pool offers quiet and relaxation while soaking up some of the famous Florida sunshine next to the quiet pool.

I loved visiting the spa and loved how even though I had my girls with me, they were able to participate and have a mini-spa treatment as well.

Pirates Plunge Waterpark

When it comes to picking a pool for my 4 gremlins, I like to pick a pool that all 4 of them can enjoy at the same time. I was happy to find that the Pirates Plunge Waterpark was able to satisfy all of the kid’s needs. It had an awesome water slide that the kids must have gone down a million times.

Keke even faced her fear and went down the “dark” slide and came out smiling and screaming with joy. Esuun had her floaty so she swam around everywhere in that pool and even made her way to the Wading part.

Malik had a great time testing out the hammocks before we left, and Antony really enjoyed the freedom of being able to jump into the water as many times as possible.

If you are looking for an upscale affordable home away from home option, head over to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. The rooms are very spacious and definitely made me feel like a queen with how much space I had in just my bedroom with my jacuzzi.

The full-sized kitchen was a bonus and really helped this mom stay within budget with her crazy vacation adventure. I truly felt like I was staying in a home away from home the entire time I stayed at this resort.

There were tons of things to do on the property as well as the Pirate’s Plunge Waterpark which was the kid’s favorite part. I definitely would recommend this to large families looking for ample space within a reasonable budget.
