KidsFest at Kings Dominion
It’s that time of the year again that my family and I will adventure back to Kings Dominion for one of their amazing events. On this trip, we will be adventuring back to Kings Dominion for their KidsFest event. The second annual KidsFest at Kings Dominion will be in Planet Snoopy.
Join us as we celebrate kid-friendly fun with concerts, crafts activities, shows and so much more! Plus, Everyone Pays Kid’s prices when you buy your tickets online to come during KidsFest.
KidsFest takes place in Planet Snoopy
Saturdays and Sundays, July 16 – 24 from Noon to 5 p.m.

Attending KidsFest at Kings Dominion
My kids are so excited to attend their very first KidsFest at Kings Dominion, there will be so many fun activities for them to do and see there. I think they are the most excited to see the Mad science show, they always said they wish they could be mad scientists for a day. This is not your typical science education show! Join Atomic Ali and learn more about science in a fun and interactive way.
Activities and Live Entertainment
I read there will also be an animal education show where you can enjoy this wild show full of different animals. Get your questions ready this engaging show will teach you all about the starring animals and their habitats. The last time that we visited during the Spring Bloom the kids were able to visit the petting zoo, they loved petting and picking up the super cute animals.
Imagination Movers and Choo Choo Soul
I think your little one may need to sit down for this part of the news for KidsFest, but have you ever heard of the Imagination Movers or the Choo Choo Soul? Of course, they have! Who hasn’t! My 3-year wold is so ecstatic about meeting the Imagination movers and Choo Choo Soul. All we seem to talk about these past few days is what she will say to them once she’s there.
Get ready to move and groove with the Imagination Movers! Join us in the PEANUTS™ Showplace for two free concerts at 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16. All Aboard! Choo Choo Soul will be performing at the PEANUTS™ Showplace on Saturday, July 23 at 1 and 4 p.m.
There is also a Power Up Dance Party, Party with the Peanuts Gang and the Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular. End your day of fun as we present Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular! Take in our vibrant light and music extravaganza from the International Street fountain to the Carousel.
There is so much to do and so little time, I hope we can squeeze in everything in our 1 trip. Don’t forget as well that Soak City is open and available to explore. Last time we visited we got rained out and missed out on riding the lazy river.
