Visiting The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar
Did you know that there is an actual fish named the Longhorn Cowfish? It looks like a fish with two long horns and really does resemble a cow and a fish. I wasn’t able to catch the one in the tank at the front of the restaurant but it’s super cute.Â
This charismatic fish is a member of the boxfish family and is easily recognizable by its long horns that protrude from the front of its head. This fish displays a unique behavior of blowing into the sand of the seafloor to uncover buried food items such as small worms.

Did You Know? This fish can excrete a toxin to deter predators. Good thing the actual Longhorn Cowfish isn’t actually on the menu here. An array of different sushi options is available on the menu as well as fun bento boxes for the kids and adults. Their portions are huge so make sure you come hungry!
Kids Meals at The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar
The girls opted to get the MacNCheese bento boxes which they picked french fries and rice crispy for their sides. The boys opted to get cheeseburgers and sushi kids’ bento boxes with the same sides as the girls. Malik really loves sushi, so when he found out he could get his own bento box he was very excited.
Each kid’s bento box comes with a rice crispy treat and some swordfish, as well as a fun tattoo. They loved their food and asked to come back again the next day for lunch.
Delicious Sushi and Burgers
As the mom of this group, I got to pick the delicious adult-sized bento box with a cheeseburger and sushi. I am a true Asian cuisine lover when it comes to sushi and I must say this sushi was delicious.
I’m not one to lick my sushi plate when I go out but I licked this one. The fries are hands down one of the best-seasoned fries I’ve had while eating out. The cheeseburger was slider-sized but fully packed with flavor that kept this mom’s taste buds satisfied.

Hands down this was a great restaurant experience and a delicious place to eat. My kids loved the bento boxes and I loved the fresh sushi. To get to the restaurant you must take an elevator to get to the 2nd floor but, the restaurant is actually 3 levels.Â

oh wow. wish i’d known about this place when i was in orlando this summer. i plan to go again early next year so, i’ll definitely add it to my itinerary.

This place sounds amazing even though I never had sushi or really don’t think I would like the texture. I know my family probably would love eating there though. The aquarium in the center looks gorgeous and really does add to your experience there it seems. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Sushi and Burgers – those are two things I would never have thought to put together as a restaurant theme.
I have never been here but it looks fun. I love the colors and the variety of meals. I will keep this place in mind when I visit the area.
