This week the girls and I are celebrating summer with Lemonade-Inspired Art In the Backyard. The best part of this activity is that you can use what you have on hand in your home.

Lemonade Inspired Family Art In The Backyard
School is out and summer is finally here! With our summer plans pretty much canceled, I’ve had to head back to the drawing board to come up with some alternatives. We originally planned to travel to a local beach, however, it doesn’t seem like that will be happening.
With our schedule completely open and the kids needing some fun things to keep them entertained at home, I’ve come up with some creative activities.

Lemonade-Inspired Art
This week the girls and I are celebrating summer with Lemonade-Inspired Art In the Backyard. The best part of this activity is that you can use what you have on hand in your home. To start, grab those neglected crayons, markers, paint, chalk, and some paper.
Set up a place outside, either on the grass, concrete, or foldable table. Grab some Florida’s Natural Lemonade to keep your artist refreshed and then get to work

Lemonade Inspired Chalk Art
The girls shared what lemonade meant to them, which included how it made them feel, their favorite colors that go with the amazing lemons, and more!
Check out the lemonade-inspired chalk art, and drawings that we made today! I love those lemon clouds above Malik’s flower, and I imagine it rains lemonade in his world. It’s so creative, along with Anthony’s fun perspective of lemon’s falling into his cup as he pours from the bottle.

Lemonade Chalk Art
Anthony of course is our classic lemonade lover and loves to drink it on a hot summer day. He says when he takes a sip of his lemonade, that like his chalk artwork, it feels like lemons just fell into his cup and added a little bit of sweetness to make it just perfect.

I asked my daughters to share what they felt or thought of when they drank lemonade when it came to their artwork.

Kid’s Lemonade Inspired Art
Keturah shared that when she drinks lemonade and thinks about how it makes her feel, that it reminds her of how sweet life can be. She tried to express that in her artwork.
I mean, who said lemons HAD to be yellow? In Esuun’s artwork, she shares all the magical colors she thinks and feels when she drinks her lemonade. Her drawings and chalk art share a fun imaginative take on a pastel magical-inspired piece of art.

Florida’s Natural Lemonade
In Esuun’s world, Unicorns love the taste of Florida’s Natural Lemonade and can’t wait to try all the different flavors!
Florida’s Natural Lemonade Flavors:

Homemade Lemonade Flavors
As for me, when I take a sip of Florida’s Natural Lemonade, its sweet, crisp taste reminds me of my grandmother’s homemade lemonade and the summers I spent with her. The flavor brings me back to those happy childhood summers we had together when I used to basically live in her backyard swimming pool.
