Super Hero Lunch Boxes – Fuel For Back To School
The school year has started, the air is already changing into its lovely fall weather. With school comes school lunches, something every parent worries about. Are my kids getting their balanced diet in school? Or are they eating all of their food?
With the school ramping up their meals including many new options that weren’t available to students like me just 9 years ago. Yeah, I was in the public school system just 9 years ago lol. Schools now offer healthier choices which include fruit, salads and so much more. With picky eaters like mine, I worry if they are eating the foods they are offered in their cafeteria.
Fuel For Back To School
Like most mom’s I opt to pack my children’s lunches on the day’s I know they might struggle with the menu choices. Having picky eaters is something I’ve grown to become accustom to, seeing as I have 4 picky eaters something had to give in that situation. A few day’s ago while I was in Walmart I spotted something super fantastic right as I walked through the door.
Super Hero Lunch Boxes
It wasn’t long before my children spotted their favorite MARVEL superheroes on the Chewy Granola Bar boxes. Naturally, they gravitated towards them and had a little debate on who was the best superhero. I’m not judging but I think all of the superheroes are awesome!
While they debated about who was the best I took a quick look at the box and scanned the awesome details. There is 8 superhero-sized bars in their favorite Chocolate Chip version of granola bars. As well as 4 Collectable card’s on the back of the box – Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk Eye, and Spider-Man.
Super Hero Lunch Box Ideas
My 8-year-old’s most favorite of all the MARVEL superheroes is Spider-Man, he loves that he can climb walls, shoot webs, and also do crazy cool flips and jumps off tall buildings. At this point of the trip the debate had died off and to their surprise, I had already placed 2 boxes in the cart.
This mom already knew what she was going to do with these bars as she (not sure why I’m speaking in 3rd person but okay lol) pranced to the deli section and ordered a pound of honey ham and snagged some American cheese slices.
Super Hero Lunch Boxes For Kids
Armed with the supplies I needed I set out to create a lunch box my kids couldn’t help but finish. Using a star cookie cutter I set out to make some Captain America Ham and Cheese Sandwiches. This sandwich is my kid’s ultimate favorite of sandwiches.
They could consume 4 of these in 1 sitting if I let them, and of course, I don’t let them lol. To tackle my kid’s superhero-sized hunger I turned to the Chewy Granola bar. These aren’t your average-sized granola bars, they are double the size, meaning they have double the delicious flavor!
Lunch Box Idea’s for Kids
Once my Captain America Ham and Cheese sandwich was ASSEMBLED I packed it into the sandwich container. Holding down this sandwich I placed the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bar on top, to keep the sandwich in place when they are in their lunch boxes.
Can you see below how huge this bar is? Don’t you just love it!? I ASSEMBLED the rest of their superhero lunch box, which included some fresh fruit, cookies, juice, and pretzels. I inserted it into the cooling system (the fridge) until the morning when they would be summoned to their headquarters (school).
Super Hero Sized Appetites
Superhero-sized appetites need superhero-sized snacks, I love that these MARVEL Chewy Granola bars are double their normal size. Satisfying my children’s taste buds and their tummies is something this mom can be proud of.
I also found these in another flavor which is Peanut Butter YUM! I also love how there are collectable cards on the back of the boxes, its super awesome as well. I think we will be spending our time collecting them as we eat our way through these boxes.
