I am so excited to share that We will be Visiting Kings Dominion and Sharing My Kid’s Point of View. Follow along as we see this fun family-friendly theme park through the eyes of my children.
We will be Visiting Kings Dominion and Sharing My Kid’s Point of View
If you really think about it, it hasn’t been that long since you were a kid and experienced things for the first time. Our wide eye excitement was something to behold, as well as all the squealing and jumping. For this trip to Kings
Dominion my kids will be experiencing some things for the first time and will be sharing all those fun moments with you. During our last trip for the Spring Bloom Festival, we were like madmen running back and forth throughout the park trying to find out where things were and what the kids were interested in. Well for this trip we have planned out to a T what we will be doing this time.
We will be visiting our local Kings Dominion Theme Park in Virginia if you would like to learn about ticket pricing and other events/attractions, head over to this link and find out more information about the many things to do at this huge park!
Live Free Entertainment at Kings Dominion
To help maximize our trip experience I have planned for us to visit The Planet Snoopy again, but this time, we will be catching the LIVE shows that we missed the first time. Planet Snoopy is the world’s most popular beagle and his friends welcome kids of all ages!
Featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, and Sally, Planet Snoopy is sure to thrill little riders as they fly, whirl, dive and swoop their day through the park! LIVE entertainment is available, so make sure you are checking your maps for times and locations throughout the park. Plan ahead and then enjoy the show!
Soak City
Now I haven’t been to Soak City for years! Since I was a teenager, I’m super excited to watch my kids reactions as we walk through the entrance of Soak City for the first time. I can only imagine how crazy and wet it’s going to get after those few moments of amazement.
Come explore the coolest way to beat the heat this summer at Soak City at Kings Dominion. Soak City is one of the premier water parks in the region and features water activities for guests of all ages, including water slides, rushing rivers, surfable waves, and a 650,000-gallon wave pool. Best of all, Soak City is included FREE with park admission to Kings Dominion.
Kings Dominion’s Deliruim
The last thing I totally want to test out with the boys is Kings Dominion’s Delirium. Bew in 2016, this thrill ride will allow thrill-seekers of all ages to fly through the air as they experience gravity-defying hang time. I totally hope that my boys will brave this ride with me! Delirium is a powerful, spinning pendulum on which 40 riders are strapped into their seats, facing outward on a giant ring.
As their feet dangle, they begin slowly swinging back and forth while the ring starts to rotate. The ride quickly gains momentum and before they know it, riders are getting swirling views of the park. On Delirium, guests soar to a height of 115 feet at a maximum arc angle of 120 degrees.
Here’s a quick look at some dates that Kings Dominion is hosting other upcoming events/festivals at the park, including Memorial Weekend Salute (5/28-5/30), Star-Spangled Celebration (7/2-7/4), KidsFest (7/16-7/24), BBQ, and Brewfest (8/6-8/21), and Great Pumpkin Festival (9/19-10/30). When’s the last time you took your family to Kings Dominion?

I’ve never been to Kings Dominion, but the kids do have passes to Carowinds and I think they are owned by the same company. I looks like a fun place either way!
