Turkey Pesto Grilled Cheese
If you are looking for that restaurant-quality bistro sandwich, look no further. Bring the bistro home when you try my Turkey Pesto Grilled Cheese. With just using a few simple ingredients you can create a gourmet sandwich at home.
The secret to an amazing sandwich is sourdough bread. I know, I know, your probably thinking “why is that so important?”. I don’t have a professional chef response for that, but from a foodie standpoint, the bread just tastes so amazing when you add butter and make it oh so crispy.
Bistro Inspired Sandwich
Pair this delicious bistro-inspired sandwich with your favorite dipping soup. I personally love a good tomato or tomato bisque soup. I sometimes take a moment to think about who came up with this infamous sandwich and soup pairing. Then and think “wow they were a genius!”.
I really love how the flavors all come together with this recipe and hope you give it a try. When’s the last time you had a grilled cheese and tomato soup?
