The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, global box office phenomenon that started it all, “The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part,” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city.

It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.

This film paired with 4DX made my family feel like we were actually in the film, the seats tilt and move with the characters. There were certain parts of the movie where we would be blasted with air and even ‘punched’. Okay, it wasn’t a real punch but whenever a character would get hit, the chair would give you a quick nudge.

The film itself was a great follow-up to the first LEGO Movie which my kids are huge fans of. In this film, you will see more of the relationships between each of the characters and how each of them grows individually.

The LEGO Movie 2 Regal Cinema 4DX Experience

After the arrival of a seemingly dangerous space invader who kidnaps Lucy, Batman, and a few other characters. Emmit sets off to save his friends with Rex Danger Vest’s help. They set off to the Sis-tar system to save their friends from Queen WhateverIWouldNabe.

With the 4DX experience, it felt as though we were helping to fight off the bad guys and also leaping to save our friends.

The Moral of the Story

I loved the overall moral of the story which I promise I won’t spoil for you. It was something I got to take home and say to my daughters who couldn’t wait to play with their LEGOS.

If you are ready to laugh and dance in your seat, this is the film for you to see this weekend. With new characters and catchy songs that will get stuck in your head, this is the must-see film family film!

The LEGO Movie 2: The 2nd Part 4DX Experience

My family really loved the whole experience and are already wondering what film they can see next in 4DX. I highly encourage families to try this experience as it’s like the fully immersive rides you see at theme parks.

My 13-year-old who has autism approved of this film and said it wasn’t overwhelming for him (which I did worry about at first) and he loved how the lights in the theater flashed with the songs. Two thumbs up from my whole crew!

• the seats will move
• air will shoot out next to your head
• the seats will vibrate and tickle you
• the seats tilt back and forth
• there is a possibility of there being spurts of smells (ie. Bananas)
• it is possible to be sprayed with water (You can turn this feature off per seat if you wish)
• there might be fog or bubbles
